Amazon· PPC & Advertising
PPC management judged on profit, not on hitting a target ACoS.
Campaign architecture, search-term governance and bid control across every ad type — joined to ASIN-level margin, so an efficient campaign on a losing product is visible rather than celebrated.
Overview
Amazon PPC Management, in plain terms.
Target ACoS is a diagnostic, not a goal. It is entirely possible to hit it on a product that loses money at scale, and entirely possible to miss it on a product worth advertising harder. Neither is visible if advertising is reported on its own.
We join campaign data to contribution margin per ASIN. That single change reorganises what gets scaled, what gets defended and what gets stopped.
What this service includes
The work itself.
PPC Campaign Setup
Campaign architecture built so performance is attributable: deliberate separation of discovery and performance, match-type structure, and naming that survives a team change.
Keyword Targeting
Keyword selection and match-type strategy across exact, phrase and broad, with harvesting from discovery into performance campaigns on defined rules rather than intuition.
Product Targeting
ASIN and category targeting, both defensive on your own detail pages and offensive against competitors where the comparison genuinely favours you.
Bid Optimization
Bids set against contribution margin and placement performance, adjusted on a defined cadence with every change logged against the metric it targeted.
Budget Optimization
Budget allocation across campaigns, ASINs and dayparts, paced against inventory cover so spend never funds a stockout.
PPC Audit
A structured review of existing account structure, wasted spend, search-term hygiene, placement efficiency and the gap between reported ACoS and actual profitability.
ACOS Optimization
Reducing advertising cost of sale where it reflects genuine inefficiency — wasted search terms, poor placement allocation, bids above what the margin supports.
TACOS Optimization
Managing total advertising cost against total sales, which is the number that reveals whether advertising is building organic position or substituting for it.
Who this is for
Where this earns its fee.
- Brands whose spend is growing faster than their profit.
- Accounts with acceptable ACoS and deteriorating margin — the most common and most misdiagnosed situation.
- Sellers with large search-term reports nobody has governed in months.
- Teams running paid and organic separately and paying twice for the same click.
Our process
How we run amazon ppc management
01
Audit
Structure, wasted spend, search-term hygiene and placement efficiency, joined to margin per ASIN.
02
Rebuild
Campaign architecture rebuilt for attribution, migrated without losing performance history.
03
Govern
Weekly search-term review, negative management, bid and budget adjustment on a fixed cadence.
04
Scale
Increase spend only where contribution margin supports it, expanding proven terms and placements.
Why this matters
What it changes commercially.
Advertising is the fastest lever on Amazon and the easiest to run backwards. Spend can be doubled in an afternoon; whether that was a good idea takes weeks to become visible, and by then the margin damage is done.
Most wasted spend is structural rather than tactical. Campaigns built without attribution in mind cannot tell you which change caused which outcome, so optimization becomes guesswork dressed up as iteration.
What we optimize
The metrics this is judged on.
Agreed before work starts, so nobody gets to pick a flattering one afterwards.
- Contribution margin after ad spend
- The actual objective. Every other advertising metric is a diagnostic for this one.
- TACoS
- Total ad cost against total sales — shows whether advertising is building organic position or replacing it.
- Wasted spend
- Spend on search terms with no conversions over a defined window. Usually the fastest available saving.
- Placement efficiency
- Performance by placement, which frequently justifies very different bid multipliers than the defaults.

Questions
Amazon PPC Management FAQ
Pricing, contracts and onboarding are answered on the full FAQ page.
What ACoS should we target?
It depends entirely on the product's contribution margin and what the campaign is for. A launch campaign buying velocity and a mature campaign harvesting demand should not share a target. We set it per ASIN per objective, from the margin model.
Will you rebuild our existing campaigns?
Often, yes — but carefully and in stages, because a wholesale rebuild discards performance history that has real value. We migrate rather than delete wherever the existing structure permits it.
Do you use automated bidding tools?
We use tooling to surface signal across thousands of search terms. Bid decisions are made by the person who knows your margins, because automated rules optimise the metric they were given rather than the outcome you wanted.
