Amazon· Account Services

Account health management, before it becomes account reinstatement.

Daily monitoring of performance metrics, policy notifications and listing status — so problems are handled while they are still small enough to handle.

Overview

Account Health Management, in plain terms.

Almost every suspension we are asked to appeal was visible weeks earlier. An order defect rate drifting upward, a handful of policy warnings nobody triaged, a rising count of suppressed listings treated as a catalogue nuisance rather than a signal.

Account health management is unglamorous and it is the highest-return work on this list, because the downside it prevents is total. An account under suspension earns nothing at all.

What this service includes

The work itself.

Scope is written down before the engagement starts, and the weekly review reports against it.
  • Account Audit

A full read of current account standing: performance metrics against thresholds, open policy notifications, suppressed and inactive listings, variation integrity, and any historical issues still weighing on the account.

  • Policy & Compliance

Reviewing your catalogue against category-specific policy: restricted claims, required documentation, labelling and packaging requirements, and the listing attributes that trigger automated enforcement.

  • Daily metric monitoring

Order defect rate, late shipment rate, cancellation rate, valid tracking rate and policy violations, checked daily against thresholds rather than reviewed monthly.

  • Suppression and Buy Box alerting

Listings falling out of the Buy Box or being suppressed are flagged the day it happens, with the cause diagnosed rather than just reported.

  • Notification triage

Someone reads every performance notification and decides whether it needs action. Most do not. The ones that do are the expensive ones.

  • Documentation readiness

Keeping invoices, supplier documentation and compliance certificates organised in advance, so a document request is a same-day response rather than a fortnight of scrambling.

Who this is for

Where this earns its fee.

  • Brands whose account has received policy warnings and who want to stop the trend before it compounds.
  • Sellers in categories with heavy compliance surface — supplements, cosmetics, children's products, electronics.
  • Teams where nobody currently owns the daily check, which is most teams.
  • Accounts recently reinstated, where a second suspension would be materially harder to reverse.

Our process

How we run account health management

  1. 01

    Baseline

Full account audit establishing current standing, open issues and the specific risks your category carries.

  2. 02

    Remediate

Working through the existing backlog: suppressions, open cases, documentation gaps and metric drivers.

  3. 03

    Monitor

Daily automated checks with threshold alerting, backed by a person who reads the notifications.

  4. 04

    Report

Weekly written standing with anything trending the wrong way flagged early and explained.

Why this matters

What it changes commercially.

Amazon's enforcement is largely automated and increasingly pre-emptive. Metrics are evaluated continuously, and the gap between a warning and a suspension can be days. A monthly review cadence is structurally too slow to catch it.

The asymmetry is the point. Monitoring costs a predictable monthly amount. A suspension costs all revenue for an indefinite period, plus reinstatement effort, plus the rank and velocity you lose while the listings are down — which does not come back when the account does.

What we optimize

The metrics this is judged on.

Agreed before work starts, so nobody gets to pick a flattering one afterwards.

Order defect rate
The headline metric Amazon evaluates against. Trend matters more than the current figure.
Policy violation count
Open violations accumulate. Each unaddressed one raises the probability of enforcement.
Suppressed listing count
Directly revenue-affecting, and often an early signal of a catalogue or compliance problem.
Time to resolution
How long an issue sits open from detection. This is the number monitoring exists to reduce.

Questions

Account Health Management FAQ

Pricing, contracts and onboarding are answered on the full FAQ page.

Can you guarantee our account will not be suspended?

No, and anyone who does is overselling. Enforcement decisions are Amazon's alone and can follow from a single complaint outside your control. What monitoring does is remove the preventable causes and shorten the response time on the rest.

What access do you need?

Scoped user permissions on your Seller Central account at the lowest level that allows the work — typically read access to performance and catalogue, plus case management. You can revoke it at any time.

We have already had a warning. Is it too late?

No. A warning is the useful stage. Most of what we do after a warning is demonstrate a corrective pattern, which is also what a future appeal would need to show.
