Inventory management that protects rank, not just availability.

Cover forecasting, restock planning and storage cost control — with advertising pacing tied to inventory, so spend is throttled before a stockout rather than after it.

Overview

FBA Inventory Management, in plain terms.

A stockout is not a missed week of sales. It resets sales velocity, which resets organic rank, which interrupts advertising history — and the recovery costs considerably more than the inventory would have.

We treat inventory as a marketing constraint rather than a warehouse problem, which is why the forecast and the advertising budget are managed in the same conversation.

What this service includes

The work itself.

Scope is written down before the engagement starts, and the weekly review reports against it.
  • FBA Restock Management

Restock quantities and timing modelled from velocity, lead time, seasonality and restock limits, reviewed on a fixed cadence rather than when a dashboard turns red.

  • FBA Inventory Reconciliation

Reconciling what you sent against what Amazon received and holds, and pursuing the discrepancies. Units lost in receiving are units you paid for.

  • Cover forecasting

Weeks-of-cover projected per ASIN and marketplace, with alerting well before the reorder point rather than at it.

  • Advertising pacing linkage

Budgets throttled automatically as cover falls, so spend stops driving velocity you cannot fulfil.

  • Storage cost control

Aged inventory surfaced before long-term storage fees apply, with removal, liquidation or promotion recommended on a margin basis.

  • Capacity and limit management

Working within restock limits and capacity allocations, and protecting the allocation for the ASINs that actually earn.

Who this is for

Where this earns its fee.

  • Brands who have lost rank to a stockout and do not intend to repeat it.
  • Sellers with long lead times where a forecasting error is expensive to correct.
  • Catalogues large enough that manual restock review has stopped being reliable.
  • Accounts paying long-term storage fees on inventory nobody has reviewed.

Our process

How we run fba inventory management

  1. 01

    Model

Build the demand model per ASIN from velocity history, seasonality and lead times.

  2. 02

    Plan

Restock calendar with quantities, timing and capacity constraints, agreed against cash flow.

  3. 03

    Link

Connect advertising pacing to cover thresholds so the two stop working against each other.

  4. 04

    Review

Weekly cover review, reconciliation follow-up and aged-inventory decisions.

Why this matters

What it changes commercially.

Rank recovery after a stockout is slower and more expensive than the original climb, because you are rebuilding velocity from a lower base while competitors hold the placements you vacated.

The opposite error is quieter but just as costly. Over-ordering converts working capital into long-term storage fees on units that will be liquidated below cost.

What we optimize

The metrics this is judged on.

Agreed before work starts, so nobody gets to pick a flattering one afterwards.

Weeks of cover
Projected availability per ASIN. The leading indicator for everything else here.
Stockout days
Days at zero availability on revenue-carrying ASINs, weighted by contribution.
Aged inventory value
Capital sitting in units approaching long-term storage charges.
Reconciliation recovery
Units and value recovered from receiving and fulfilment discrepancies.

Questions

FBA Inventory Management FAQ

Pricing, contracts and onboarding are answered on the full FAQ page.

Do you place purchase orders with our suppliers?

We produce the restock plan and the quantities. Placing orders and managing supplier relationships stays with you unless we agree otherwise in scope.

How do you handle restock limits?

By prioritising allocation toward the ASINs with the highest contribution margin and velocity, rather than spreading it evenly. Even allocation across a catalogue is how the earning ASINs run out first.

Can you fix a stockout that has already happened?

We can manage the recovery — restoring availability, then rebuilding velocity deliberately rather than waiting for rank to return on its own. It is slower than preventing it, which is why this service exists.
